Vinicius Forum and Mod status.

Hi:
Vinicius invitates me to be Mod in his forum.
I would like collaborate with him, but always that not be a problem here.
I will have in account all opinions but mainly the Kwag's one.

Hi Prodater64,

It's all fine with me. Everyone is free to choose what to do on other sites :)
I do however want to say something here in public, and that is that I'm a little worried about something I'm noticing, and I want to say it here.
I have been monitoring Vinicius activities on this forum since yesterday, and all I see him do is sending PM's and answering PM's. :!:
I am a little worried, and I have to say that I think, again, that he is using our resources to "keep people informed" about his site, his product, and again, no interest in this site at all.
A couple of people have already PM'ed me (no it wasn't jorel  ) and have mentioned this behaviour.
You see, I don't mind him coming back to share in the forum, but we do mind him coming here, and taking resources for his benefit, and "supporting" his DIKO users with our resources (bandwidth, user database, etc.).
All I can say is that if we do block him, and again, for the things I'm seeing in the forum, my hand is very close to the "disable account" on vmesquita. :!:

I just changed his account so he can't send or receive PM's.
This will bring me more piece of mind

If you permit me, wait for a while. I see as normal that a lot of people PM VM seeing last past events. As you say, in other words, now your finger is on a "hot weapon", and you can pull the trigger easyly.
Maybe VM is referring that pople to his own forum, isn't it?

I think that VM response highthly probably will be "f**k you".
It would be normal, please, don't force a situation.

I'd rather see that we refer people to his site, than having him "broadcast" to the user database about DIKO.
I'm still not very happy about letting him in back.
He can only now participate on the forum, which is fair enough, because he can help people as he "used to do" some time ago.
I just noticed only 3 messages he has posted on the forum since yesterday, but his PM counter was SKY HIGH in the MySQL database.
I had taken some "snapshots" on the counters last night, and believe me, I don't like the numbers I saw today when I came home from work :x

If that's the case, then we all know for sure what he was after ( which I already know :!: )
