i get "receiver key does not exist for channel: kvcd"

or if i click use existing key i get

"receiver key does not exist for channel: kvcd"

Hi Pascal,

If it's the first time you run Kast, let it run for some minutes.
You should see some IP addresses when you click on the "hosts" link.
After a while, click on the "catcher" link, and you should see the KVCD channels. Then simply click on the "subscribe" link besides the channel you want.
That's it :!: :D

Once you subscribe to a channel, the download starts automatically, once there are broadcasts on line.
So if you subscribed to Dialhot's channel, you should be receiving the images right now :!:

Just subscribe to my channel and everyhting that is in it will be downloaded automatically. You can stop the PAL file if you don't want it.

How long does it normally take?

Have you thought of using Bittorrent?

Maybe 2 to 5 minutes, the first time you connect. Did you forward or open your firewall's port 6085 to your machine?

Yes, but the problem with BT or other clients, is that you would have to constantly search for what you want :!:
With Kast, once you subscribe to a channel you want, things come in automatically.
So every time something new is sent on a channel, you automatically get it.
This concept is non-existent on any other file sharing application.

I don't think so :!:
Unless the content of the channel is changed by the broadcaster.
I think that's the way it works.
