How can I be sure I am getting a quality DVD burn?
 

If I cannot really tell if dvd media is really good unless I run a utility, how can I be sure I am getting a quality dvd. (I guess I need to trust the brand name?)

Also, does this logic apply same to dual layer dvd's which is what I mainly buy? Thanks
