JVC M10S 16X DVD Media

I've had the same problem with mine! It does recognize TY02 8X and I also use the
Verbatim -RWs. Sony forget it.

lordsmurf 10-29-2006 02:31 AM

I use Verbatim DVD-R 1x-16x discs all the time.

see other people are having this issue. can someone tell the the exact type of dvd-rw that will work. so i can go to best buy and buy a small pack of dvdrw disc

lordsmurf 02-06-2008 07:06 AM

Buy 2x DVD-RW.
Verbatim, Sony and TDK are all good choices.

See the list of deals at http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm

Also check around at the various vendors listed at http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/buy-blank-discs.htm
Or at http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/show...-com-1528.html

A bit pricey, but you can find them at http://www.americal.com/pd/VER94501.html

why 2x?? those are expensive

lordsmurf 02-06-2008 10:00 AM

The machine was built during 2x days. The discs only run about $2 each, not expensive.
I own 35 discs, but use less than 10-15 at any time.

o ok

Tranzor 02-06-2008 10:37 AM

they must have changed more in the machine (I have the drm100s) other than the fix for the loading drive error. All I use are Sony 16x with no issues

lordsmurf 02-06-2008 10:42 AM

The 100 has a newer OptiArc drive in it, therefore newer firmware. Nothing major.

Konfusion 02-06-2008 11:31 AM

i dont have any loading disc issues atleast not yet.
