Many thanks for the manual. First part downloads and unpacks great. However second part downloads but will NOT unpack properly. Tried a few times. Can you please check the second file

They work. Use winrar for compatibility if others fails.

There's a command-line version of WinRAR available for Mac: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
I prefer UnRarX: http://www.unrarx.com

Since it's less than 32MB total, I've downloaded and unRAR'd the PDF. It's attached to this post. :thumb:

I do have this as a .pdf (and indeed an original paper manual) somewhere, just not sure where I put either of them.

The SVO-5800P is still a great (classic) machine, if you need to work with SVHS or VHS tapes, as I do - can't be beaten, IMHO. (I had 4 at one point and all with component boards...)

Thread update.

The Service Manual Volume 2 links earlier in this thread download but the file will not unzip. Attached is the SVO-5800 Service manual Vol.2 1st edition.
