Service Manual for JVC HR-S8960EX

Nice little SVHS that I got used. Works a lot better than my ex NEW JVC HR-S7965E :)
It's a always a gamble.

I've attached 4 user manuals that should get you the information you're after. :)

I have manuals in German and Portuguese for the 8960E, but no English. However, the JVC HR-S8965E/EX/EK is almost the same as the HR-S8960 -- as is the HR-S7965EK and possibly even the HR-S8850E. And those manuals are available in English.

Feel free to compare the pages between the 8960 non-English, and the non-8960 English. And then you can copy/paste text in Google Translate. Google Translate also translates PDF files, though you lose all of the formatting in the process. (I've looked around for "PDF translation" software in the past, but it's all fakey spyware and junky Chinese payware.)

And welcome to the site. I know we've crossed paths on Videohelp a few times now.

What i've seen is that the US version has no SCART connectors on the backside of this vcr, the EU has.
Good machine, flying erase heads.
