VirtualDub source needs active connection?
Does VirtualDub need an active connection of some sort through the AIW before it will detect it as a source for video capture? Either a cable connected or a powered on VCR, etc.? Or should it detect the card itself as the source?

The card is the source. Wires not needed for detection.
AIW is detected without purple/domino box. If not detected, check Device Manager for :warning: |

Thanks, I was afraid that would be your answer. :smack:
Everything was showing fine in Device Manager, but no sources were listed in Virtualdub. Oddly, while I had the AIW properties open, the error in the third image popped up for the first (and so far only) time. After I installed radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.3.2-minimalsetup-210329_web.exe, however, sources appeared, as seen in the fourth image. |
What do you have?
That appears to be a Radeon graphics card, not an All-In-Wonder (AIW) capture card. And where did you get the drivers? What have you been installing? |

Sorry, just saw your response.
Currently installed is the card shown in the attached photos. Drivers have been downloaded from this site, but to be honest, I don't remember what the last set was that I installed. A number of them that I believed to be for the AIW 2006 either didn't recognize the device, or the device didn't recognize the drivers. |
