I didn’t saw any info about EP. But I sure it got a TBC.

Well, i also found an EE verison, he is cheap but shipping time is awaiting me...

Letters at the end often (but not always) mean things like market/country codes, or even color codes.
So EE, EP, may be the same internals.
May.

Well, I got other question unrelated to this but very important, how I could make a sound work from Sony HandyCam when it got only an S-Video and Av (as Jack 3.5mm cable)
I tried to connect AV to sound and it just doesn’t work.

Make sure your AV output cable is correct. Most Sony and Canon camcorders are the same, but many other devices use a different pin out. Here’s a diagram of the correct cable pin out:

Ahh, your camcorder is mono audio out, not stereo. That actually makes it easier to find a workable cable.

Here’s a useful video that explains it for you within the first 5-6 minutes:

TBH, video and mono are hard to find but i will try.

I figured out how to force it work with a stereo AV cable.

BW37 04-11-2026 10:36 AM

Yes, any stereo audio adapter cable, 3.5mm TRS to dual RCA, should work. The wires and connections are the same, just the connector colors are different. This should give you the composite video and mono audio out of the camcorder. But always better to use the s-video for the video and just the one RCA connector for the audio.

Good Luck!
