Tapco audio mixer board for converting VHS?
Hi lordsmurf, I would like to know the model of the tapco audio board you are using for the vhs to dvd transfer since I follow your advice on this forum. Please let me know?

It's the Tapco MIX120 board.
But it's not the best one anymore. In fact, I can't even find the Tapco brand anymore. I'd instead suggest the Behringer Xenyx 1002B. It's much better. Those are about ~$125 at Amazon or B&H: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...0&linkCode=as2 Excellent board. :congrats: These allow you to pre-process audio via the 3x EQ and levels (gain), and then further process in Sound Forge or Audacity, which is precisely what I do. With these boards, you can known out a lot of initial hiss and volume issues. |
Thanks, I will get the board mention from Amazon.
