@Jelly
Did you restart form sratcj after having correctly configured the options ? Else you have to. But... I have a idea... did you correctly put the matrix ? I mean : DID YOU PUT A TABULATION IN FRONT OF EACH LINE ? Because without it, it won't works ! Check into the ecl file, the lines describing the matrix must be correctly aligned with the rest of the file ! Post the file if you don't understand what I am talking about. edit: I explained that on page 5 of this thread. Here : http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....r=asc&start=74 |
When I was porting my matrixes from CCE/Tmpeg to the Rebuilders syntax I also had a missing tabs mistake in my "Bach01" matrix.
That one WAS recognised by ECLcce/CCE but as the syntax was wrong a .... Code:
8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 So Jell' be shure that ... a) The path to your ECLcce does not contain spaces etc. (maybe that doesnt matter but just in case. b) If using own avs scripts EVERY path has to be FULL and not relative. c) .... I dont know but maybe a) or c) will be the solution :) |
@phil: yes, i do know what you're talking about concerning the matrix. and yes, of course i have started the prepare phase again, after i changed the path to ECLCCE... sorry that i overread your post.
i choose the matrix in RB-Opt, under CCE options. I click on Custom, a little window opens, and I choose the KVCD_Notch_matrix.txt file. I checked the file, there's a tab in front of each line, so it seems the syntax is right... however, inside the new ECL file I can't find any information about the matrix. whatever, even if i choose Standard as matrix in RB-Opt, I still get: "C:\mySource\VTS_02_VOBID_01.ecl is not an ECL for CCE SP" @inc: there are no spaces in my directories anywhere... the avs script is simple and not relative: Code:
#------------------ |
Maybe you got a newer CCEsp version than ECLcce can handle it!
Be aware that you got the latest ECLcce! That could solve your problem. Related to the matrix, ... look in the .ecl file where you'll find the matrix as hex values (same as in tmpgencs project tpr files) |
Please, post the ecl file. The matrix should be in it ! I will check with one of mine, to compare the content.
|
okay phil, i really wanted to avoid this, but you don't give me any options...
here's the ECL file of DVDRebuilder... Code:
; Cinema Craft Encoder SP -- Encoder Control List @inc: i installed the latest version 1.81 which claims to support my SP version 2.67... @phil and inc: thanks for all your support in this. I hope we can figure out my mistake... :P |

And note that to avoid playback problems, v0.60b is the recommended one, at least for rebuilding the structure..

They have problems, there's a couple of threads at D9 about it. Something about audio/video hiccups etc. on certain standalones. Pioneer was one of them IIRC so we're both better off with 0.60b
|
I dunno which Version I got as all my encodings ended up with no probs.
But the StarWars Box set gots multipleAngles (for instance the very beginning where the Text moves into space - english OR german, depending on the SAP language setting). Are multiple Angles supported in DVD-RB 0.60b? |
Quote:
May be I'm wrong... |
No, but jdobbs is supposedly working on multiangle support at the moment. The additional angles must be stripped before processing, with IfoEdit for example.
EDIT: Don't know how DVD Decrypter works..some people have reported that it doesn't correct the IFO which then screws up the chapters unless this is fixed with IfoEdit. I've done one multiangle stripping with IfoEdit and it worked perfectly in DVD-RB. |
ot:
i know that DVD-RB can use original menus, etc. but you all can swear that is better use DVD-RB that still have some issues(but is cool) that use D2S to main movie and author menus, etc with dvdlab or tmpgencdvdauthor?!?!? D2s-roba give me perfect size with: CCE 266(kvcd nothch)min=700,max=8000 from 200Mb to 4,5Gb! wonderfull quality! see: KDVD toy story 1 & 2 with lots of extras and with original AC3-5.1. menu 1 and 2 (pictures with 50% size) menu1: http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/i.../2004/09/4.jpg menu2: http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/i.../2004/09/5.jpg scene from toy story. http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif click for full size: http://img5.exs.cx/img5/3641/ts17.jpg not so bad ...never had problems usind D2S. (and have a new D2S-Roba....tylo build a special version for me  ) can one of you explain-me why i have to change to DVD-RB with issues? nothing against your tastes, and if you're getting better results.i need to learn....i only don't understand why is better use DVD-RB!?!? ot end thanks! |
One reason for using DVD-RB is that it does the whole disc at one time. With D2S you have to use the batch processing or do the process one by one.
I also like to keep the original menus (and button functions!) on some movies and that's why I prefer DVD-RB if I put one movie per disc. For two movies or more, manual work it shall be. I haven't had any size problems with DVD-RB, the Q prediction seems to be quite accurate. It well should since it uses a similar technique to D2SRoBa. |
Jorel : the goal with DVD-RB is nto the same at all.
The idea is not to keep the menu, but to kepp ALL THE BONUS. When bonus(es) don't have any interrest (or only some of them have), then DVD-RB is useless. And then D2S can be a tool to use. That is my opinion. |
thank you boys.
8) now i "got the feelings"! you're right for your targets....(i still need to test it) |
Hello guys
I reported earlier in this thread that i got everything to work but After burnung the dvd and just skimming through it,it looked perfect but when i actually sat down to watch it it would play fine for a while and then it would freeze,i have read over at doom9 about freezing on sony standalones but this is a cyberhome 300. So i took it to a friends house and it would freeze for a second and then it would go to the last chapter. Is this a problem on my end using RB-OPT and not joining the vobs correctly or could it be something else thanx |
Hi everyone!
Where can I download the v0.60b of DVD ReBuilder? I've searched but can only find newer versions... Off topic I've finally become a father! :D |
Quote:
Congratulations. |
I found 0.60b via Google but it is attached in the Star Wars thread at the DVD-RB forum at Doom9 if I remember correctly.
Congratulations :o |
Thanks guys!
Yes Boulder you were right about the link  . Here it is for those of you who are looking for it: http://forum.doom9.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=551095 |
BTW
Have anyone here tested DVDRB with the new CCE 2.70? |

I wish you and your family all the best with the little one :D Cheers |

:D hey i saw that only now. congrats and happiness for your family and for the new gift from heaven. 8) GOD bless you all! @ all hey boys, we're uncles one more time! :D |
@All
Thanks a lot guys! My girlfriend, my newborn son and I are very grateful for all your support :) . Now, back to my questions (if you don't mind) : 1) Have anyone used DVD ReBuilder with CCE 2.70 yet? Results? 2) Which ECL version am I supposed to use, and where do I download it? @jorel The name Henrik in Brazil?! Really? Cool 8) :D |
@audioslave,
Well I haven't tested CCE 2.70 yet so I can not comment. I'm saving it for a couple of weeks from now. Even because from what I've read so far changes are not that significant IMHO. As to the name Henrik I can tell you that there is a very similar name in Portuguese that is spelled Henrique and it sounds just like your name. Maybe that's what Jorel is talking about :) Cheers |
[OT]
@Audioslave Congrats on becoming a Father buddy I am very happy for both you and your wife and im sure your newborn baby will bring many many years of good cheer. That is of course until he or she becomes a Teenager then you can pull your hair out. :D [/OT] |
Yep Audioslave! Gongrats!! All the best to you and your family! :D
|
Thanks again dear friends! :) Wow, amazing feedback!
I have another question: Is it possible to use FreeEnc with DVDRB? If it is possible: How? |
Maybe..if you rename it as QuEnc.exe (or whatever the exe is) and set DVD-RB to use QuEnc for encoding.
|
Quote:
|
Ok, thank you for your replies....
|
It is possible to get the order line that DVDRB send to Quenc?
|
Quote:
 |
Yes, I think VM added all those switches that actually do nothing for the one reason that QuEnc could be replaced by FreeEnc. If we knew the error message (I'm too busy to try that now myself), it would be easy to figure out the reason - or for VM to fix things in FreeEnc.
|
I've just bought the Star Wars box and thought I should back it up. I've ripped "Return of the Jedi" with "DVD Decrypter" but when I'm trying to load the VOBs in "DVD Rebuilder" it says the files contain "multiple angles and/or interleaved material" and aborts?!
What am I doing wrong? I have the Swedish version of the SW box (PAL)... |
Quote:
Make sure you enable the "Multi Angle Processing" on the DVDDecrypter settings, and then select "Retain angle [1]" ;) -kwag |
Or if DVD Decrypter doesn't work, you'll have to use the IfoEdit method. DVD Decrypter _might_ screw up the chapters. I've never had any problems with IfoEdit-removed angles.
