ok done 2 kdvds of both extended lotr movies and they've been on dvd for a while now and I done them without a menu.

I'm now looking at doing the dvds with (if possible) the original dvd menus off the double discs. I used dvdmaestro to author originally but dont know the program all that well just well enough to author the dvds with 2 audio tracks an forced subs.

Any help would be appreciated.

ps: incredible :P happy now?

Hey Andy
Long time no seeing
It was my understanding that DVD-RB was donationware.
So you're free to use it and you're also free to give a symbolic donation if you find that software useful
for your intents. That's all.
But you're not obliged to do so.
As a matter of fact I would donate if I would use it, but that's just me.
For instance I've already told VM that I am willing to pay for freeenc if he keeps improving it.
He'll just have to tell me where to send the money
Cheers

DVD Rebuilder is free, unless you make a donation. I did, because I know how much work must've been involved in the remux code alone. But you don't have to donate to use it.

pay for Freeenc!
that's a good one! Well I'm just talking about the wordplay, not the content of your post.

BTW the only completely freeware authoring tool that I am aware for DVD purposes is DVDAuthor.
Here is a link to it's most popular GUI http://users.adelphia.net/~liquid64/dvdauthorgui.html
Here are some specs:
-multiple titles (pgc)
-multiple titleset menus (still and motion)
-m2v still creation
-chapters
-subtitles (text based only )
-multiple audio streams
-basic navigation commands
-iso creation
I've had very good results with this one.
It's muxing engine is very stable.
But it still lacks a lot of features you will find in DVDLab or TMPG DVD Author.
Cheers
