You said it all. What we know for sure is that this standalong does not like MPEG1 KVCD in other things than VCD resolution.

But the samples do not test : MPEG2 KVCD muxed in SVCD mode. And perhaps with this it can supports other resolution.

Do your job in MPEG2, and mux (and burn) your work in SVCD and tell us.

Ok, will do. My video file is already in MPEG 2, so I just need to mux it and reburn. Hopefully that'll do it.

Muxed it, burned it with Nero as SVCD @ 4x and still no luck. Choppyness still persists.

Bad standalone, change the standalone

Note: did you do your audio in 44.1 ? 48Khz is known to give problems.

Audio is 44.1

The standalone works fine with different resolutions though. Should I try reeconding it to a lower resolution?

It's a shame, but until my father quits being cheap or until I get a little cash, I'll be encoding at lower resolution. Thanks for your help, it's been great!
