Double check guide and remake subtitles step by step. Be patient and dont interrupt bmp creation. Wait until subrip creates all bmps. I did it and not problem with my subtitles.

I am still getting "Unsupported File Type Error" when trying to load into DVDLab. I've tried several more times taking care to follow the guide exactly. Maybe my version of DVDLab is defective or something. It is version 1.00. My sst file looks like:
612 00:00:24:22 00:00:27:08 teste00001.bmp

Everytime I use Subrip I save the subs as .srt files (textfiles), and then let DVDlab create new bitmaps, never had a problem...

Yes but you have to go throught an OCR process that can be painfull and you loose all italics (not supported by interal subtitle engine of DVDLabPro).
@Nicksteel
Check you DBDLabPRO version and the subrip one also (it has been changed a lot recently). Pro, can you give us the version you use for both ?
(I never used sst, so giving you mine is useless)

Don't look elsewhere. Your version is far too old ! At this time DVDLabPro did not have an internal subtitle engine.
You need 1.50 min, the better is the last one (1.53 build 050530)

Subrip is 1.30b10 now but yours is okay for what we need here.

Thanks,
Downloading DVDLabPro 1.53
Was not able to download other versions of SubRip. Every attempt to get 1.3 had CRC errors. Do you know a good location?

This is one of the files I tried. Tried again, CRC checks again using both Internet Explorer and Leechget for downloading. Continuing to work with version 1.2.
Downloaded and installed DVDLabPro 1.53. Same error when attempting to import my SubRip sst file. Loaded same sst successfully into Subtitle Workshop with VOBs and bmp file names are shown during play. For some reason, both versions of DVDLab Pro give the same import error.
Is there some configuration requirement within DVDLab Pro? The sst's format is acceptable to Subtitle Workshop, but not to DVDLab Pro.

All I can tell is that tested yesterday with subripp 1.3b10 and DVDLabPro 1.53 and all works PERFECTLY. Be carefull to put the sst in the same directory than the bmp, as the file does not contains any pathname.
Note: the CRC error can be due to bad winrar version. Try with tools like powerarchiver. Or send me your email by pm and I will send you a zip or even a tar file.
Note2: please post a screenshot of your complete screen when you have the error window. Just to be sure that you have it in the correct situation ! Because I'm still wondering if you are importing the subtitles in the Assets window or in the subtitle one. Thanks.

I finally decide to send it by "yousendit"
http://s40.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3...M23Q4ALCXFJUAY
I included in the pack a very big matrix file designed by the guy that is currently enhancing the tool. He says it can recognize 95% of the DVD he owns (when using OCR based method, not bitmap as we are doing currently).

The problem was SubRip. The new version Phil sent ended the problem.
Thanks, guys, especially for your patience. I was sure I was following the steps correctly, but couldn't get it going until you coached me along.
