There's various joiners; Tmpgenc, camel - I haven't had much success with these but it's been a long time since i tried. I have very good luck joining m1v files together with HJSplit. The other day I had to resort to this because my 'puter crashed in the middle of encoding and I had to resume with source range then join 'em.
