Kwag,

Is the SKVCD PAL template resolution of 352x480 correct? Should it not be 352x576 or is it different for Mpeg2?

Hi scratchie77,

I have the Pioneer 444 and solved this problem by increasing the min bitrate to 600 and the VBV to 22.

No more audio problems.

When capturing at 352x288 some captures are captured at 4:3 this is then very difficult to get on one CD.

I have captured 3.5hrs using virtualdub with huffy. The audio is standard PCM 44k 16bit stereo.

Works great on this player with standard kvcd template.

352x570 CQ-70 VBV-22

VBV needs to be 22 to advoid audio synch problems. A value of 48 seems to skip.

Fantastic first attempt

Cptured Only Fools and Horses at 352x288 using Huffy.

Encoded using templates at 352x288 and CQ-74.

Final video was 657mb 84mins.

Burnt to 80min Cdr using Nero. Nero showed the file as...
