It's too strong. I assume that's good for analog TV and VHS captures. I don't use it on DVD backups.

Hi jorel,

You can set DVD2SVCD with the ULBR ( :D ) parameters.
Set your MIN bit rate to 64kbps. Your MAX to 900Kbps. Set the KVCD BETA-1a "Notch" matrix. The one on all PLUS templates right now....

I did use preset="movieHQ" on "Count of Monte Cristo" movie which is very dark with smoke or dust ( haven't seen the movie yet, just the sample 8) )
