As time moves on, we'll probably see manufacturers taking into account VBR in MPEG-1 (VCDs), and newer models will probably work correctly :)

No way around it DorvalCS :!:
When the DVD players read the media, and detect "VCD", they assume the maximum media size. They don't take into consideration that some "weirdos" like us ( :lol: )...
