Yes. The merging function in TMPEG is completely buggy!. You can cut mpeg files with TMPEG's tools, but not join them :(
That's why I'm currently using BBmpeg for all the muxing. I only use TMPEG...

I've just learned and started using Fitcd a week ago, so the Script generated by Avisynth wasn't...

I am using DVD2AVI 1.76, because AviSynth doesn't work with DVD2AVI 1.77.x. They changed the structure of the .d2v file.
I would suggest you stick to version 1.76 and extract...
