8O Why didn't you just encode that section with different MAX bitrates, and burn to CD-RW :idea:
That way, you don't have to wait that long to figure out what MAX you must use :!:

You might have to keep lowering your MAX in small steps (~50Kbps) down to the point where you don't see that behaviour. Hope it's not too low :roll:

Hi VORTECH,

What you are describing, looks to me like a bitrate "peak".
Try encoding with a lower MAX bitrate. Lower your MAX, maybe 200Kbps, and see if it cures the problem.
