Hi bapski,
Have you tried opening your DV file directly with TMPEG?
Or better yet, open your DV file with FitCD, and set destination to 352x480. Now open the .avs with TMPEG.

Ok, reading around the net, I've found that your CCD gives you an equivalent of around +-500x480 effective resolution, and then scales this to 720x480 for the DV stream. So that's why it's blocky....

Can you verify what is the actual pixel resolution on your cam? I think that the actual capture resolution is below 720x480, and when converted to DV, it's being up-scaled. That's the reason why you...

Encode with the 352x480 template. DV cams don't record near 704x480. Or do you have a very high end model that does?
