I can simply use the optimal avs script for clean DVD sources that Kwag posted right? Or must I use Moviestacker to do this step first for some reason?

I did as suggested, opened vts_1_01.vob and it did automatically load all the rest of the VTS files. (neat!) Pressed f5 and was previewing the move, copied down 16:9, 29.970 fps, Film,...

Ripped DVD - Now what?

Just ripped the movie: A View From the top.
Have a file folder with 6 VTS files in it. as well as a couple info files.

I thought Dvd Decypter would rip the data into one large AVI file?
