Well I don't have that player, but have you tried MPEG2 ? Have you muxed the audio with BBMPEG? what's the birate? what's the frequency? maybe the player doesn't like 44khz or 48khz... I'd try lots...

I would really suggest you find out your self which quality you accept and which you don't... use file size prediction, encode a sample that will fit on one...
