Thanks boulder, I think I'll just stick with encoding at 29.97 fps. I tried SelectRangeEvery as Dialhot suggested to delete the 2 blended frames out of every 5 frames. The result looked good, i.e....

fixing bad telecine job?
hey guys. I've got an AVI file with framerate of 29.97. Looking at it frame by frame, I see 3 progressive frames followed by 2 blended frames (not interlaced). This leads me to believe the source...
