I meant that I have a 16:9 tv and if you want to watch a 4:3 tv show or a dvd with the right aspect ratio you get black bars on the left and right of the screen, that´s why I usually use IDEAL...

Tha aspect ratio is thrown off anyway cause I always watch them widescreen, I hate the black bars on the sides!

KVCD: Convert 4:3 video to 16:9

What do I have to change in the script or tmpgenc to change the picture size from 4:3 to 16:9? I have a widescreen tv and the 4:3 lowers the CQ for nothing, the picture is a little distorted anyway!
