If you have the last realese of codecs, they all output n YV12 by default so "no conversion" is the same. Now, if DVD2SVCD now allows to select (force) YV12, then do it !

With YV12 you have both better speed and better quality ;-)
RGB is the worse mode to use. YUY2 is acceptable.
