I personally try to not go above 4h in 704*576...

I personally try to not go above 4h in 704*576 and 6h in 544*576 (not standard, be carrefull).

This is for KDVD with 2 audio streams at 384 Kbp/s for each movie.

You don't even have to remux manually : open directely the MPEG into DVDLabo pro or an other authoring tool and they will remux them while they add the menu and do the DVD structure.

All is the same except that you won't use VCDEasy for authoring the disc (it can do DVD) but something like DVDLabPro (free for 30 days) or tmpgenc DVD author...
