Setting -> Video -> Rate Control mode (where is indicated CQ) -> Setting -> Minimaul bitrate.


The problem generally comes from the resolution. Do you use the same resolution with the avi ?

Weird. Never heard about "high speed" CD-R but never used disc that can go above 48x either :).


VCDEasy must support the burner internally, and it seems not to be the case witj yours.

Not necessary : the speed is fixed by the disc itself.
It seems you are using CD-RW isn't it ? Some are "high speed" and can't be burnt under a given speed.

Nevertheless, how are you creating...

Never go above 4x for a VCD. There is no error control on a VCD, contrary to DVD or Data CD.

Whatever the resolution used the pciture displayed on the screen should have the same size. This is only the sharpness of the image that is different (the upper the res, the better the sharpness).
