I guess that what you want is to convert a divx and all you see in the guides here starts from a MPEG2. So you are in trouble with "MPEG2SOURCE"...

The purpose of dvd2avi is, as the name of the tool let it know, to make an avi from a vob. What you want is like making an avi from an avi. Not very usefull.

In few words : no, there is not.
