CqMatic is for making the file size prediction. For this you need to have a avs script. Moviestacker is for doing such script :-)
So you need to use both of them ;-)

But : movie stacker isn't...

The refered thread deals with problems we have to use MPEG1 sources in avisynth script. It has nothing to do with your own problem (SVCD are MPEG2 and mpeg2 sources never have been a problem as all...

Why do you post in the DVD2SVCD forum ? Habit ? :-))

Simply copy the 2 mpeg that are in the directory MPEG2 of your CD on you hard disk. Then open DVD2AVI, add the 2 mpgs and save the .d2v...
