Its not worth downscaling from 448kbit to 384kbit beside all the disadvantages you will suffer from.

I recommend: 2.0 CH = 128, 160, 192 kbit ...

I recommend:

2.0 CH = 128, 160, 192 kbit

5.1 CH = 384, 448 kbit

I also did one 224kbit 5.1 reencoding, it ended up good cause the source was excellent, so you have to try ;-)
