my problem seems to be with the readavs plugin.

it was not in my tmpge folder so i tried to copy it from the dvd2svcd folder and edit the reg file but it didnt work. is this the right thing to do?...

yes i did try opening the avs in tmpge with readavs checked and it worked fine!

Which version of dvd2svcd are you using now?

DVD2SVCD seems to be changing the environment...

DVD2SVCD seems to be changing the environment settings in tmpge when it starts.
ie. unchecking avisynth sript reader.

well i found the problem now how do i fix it? anyone?

AVIsource autodetect couldn't open file

I am getting this error when tmpge starts:

AVIsource autodetect couldn't open file
Error code: 32

has any one else had this ? how do i fix it?
