I tried it too, but still the same thing, even after reboot :
with the msvcrt-renamed-msvcr70 + the original msvcrt in winnt\system32 folder : runtime error and it doesn't work.

it's not only avisynth, it's virtualdubmod, too. with msvcr70, I've got...
