Here is a JVC catalogue page from 2001, S8700EK is a fairly high end model only beaten by the S9700EK which has the DD.

Would love to find one of those for £2 :D:D:D

I still enjoy watching movies on VHS tape purely because of nostalgia, don't get me wrong i love HD streaming but nothing beats the feel of physical media.
