Hi centella,
But where did you get the compiled *.dll?
I went to DSPGuru site and downloaded the soundtouch.dll.zip file that comes with two *.txt files, one *.def file,
one *.cpp file and one *.h file.
That means no already compiled *.dll file
So if you have the same files I don there's no way besweet will use soundtouch.
But maybe you got a compiled *.dll file somewhere else?
If so where, so I can download it too and try to replicate that.
Cheers

Soundtouch is working now for a while, but not with ac3 5.1 audio.
You can use it with ac3 2.0 I think.
Go to the Guru site and read faq hosted in doom9.

You can deal with ac3 5.1 source and target with this script:

http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/...undStretch.zip

You will need to do that in readme.txt file say or adapt it with your own paths.

The idea: Extract ac3 5.1 with besweet with -6CH core option.
To apply soundstretch http://sky.prohosting.com/oparviai/s...ndstretch.html
to each file isolately with option -tempo
Remux 6 mono audio to ac3 5.1 with besweet with azid and ac3enc options enabled and ssrc if necessary.

Nice
It already comes included in the package...
I wonder how they decide which plugin goes with the package and which doesn't...
Well since I am compiling it, I'll wait until it finishes
@Pro64
So it means they're still checking the plugin to see if they can get it to be fully functional with besweet?
That is only ac3 5.1 supported?
Cheers

Yes, they are checking it, but I don't understand your last question. Not only ac3 5.1 but any kind of input and output.

Hola

@All, Thank you very much to all
@Prodater64, I tested using your example

The results after several tests, 9 altogether, resemble much in
proportion, for which I used:

prueba.ac3 size 195.922 KB 48KHZ pal

prueba.bat is the following one:

@ECHO OFF

Set path=
Set movie=prueba
Set tempo=
Set substream=

Set moviepath=e:\temp\
Set file=prueba.ac3
Set substream=0x81

Set tempo=-4.096

:: tempo = -4.096 -> 25.000 to 23.976
:: tempo = 4.27094 -> 23.976 to 25.000
:: tempo = -16.58325 -> 29.970 to 25.000

Set movie=%file:~0,-4%

Echo "Comienza Prueba1" > prueba.log
time /t >> prueba.log

c:\noborrar\win2000\util_vid\besweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input e:\temp\prueba.ac3 -output f:\temp\prueba_pr1_ns.mp2 ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -mp2enc( -m d -b 224 -e ) -ota( -g max )

c:\noborrar\win2000\util_vid\besweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input f:\temp\prueba_pr1_ns.mp2 -output f:\temp\prueba_pr1_st.mp2 ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -mp2enc( -m d -b 224 -e ) -ota( -g max ) -soundtouch( -rate -4.096 )

Time /t >> prueba.log
Echo "Finaliza prueba1" >> prueba.log

Echo "-----------------------------------------------------" >> prueba.log
Echo "comienza Prueba2" >> prueba.log
time /t >> prueba.log

c:\noborrar\win2000\util_vid\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input "%moviepath%%file%" -output "%moviepath%%movie%.wav" -6ch ) -azid( -c normal -g max )
rem -substream %substream%

CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavC.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%C.wav" -tempo=%tempo%
CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavFL.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%FL.wav" -tempo=%tempo%
CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavFR.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%FR.wav" -tempo=%tempo%
CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavLFE.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%LFE.wav" -tempo=%tempo%
CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavSL.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%SL.wav" -tempo=%tempo%
CALL SoundStretch.exe "%moviepath%%movie%.wavSR.wav" "%moviepath%%movie%SR.wav" -tempo=%tempo%

ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%FL.wav"> SoundStretch.mux
ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%C.wav">> SoundStretch.mux
ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%FR.wav">> SoundStretch.mux
ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%LFE.wav">> SoundStretch.mux
ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%SL.wav">> SoundStretch.mux
ECHO "%moviepath%%movie%SR.wav">> SoundStretch.mux

c:\noborrar\win2000\util_vid\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input "SoundStretch.mux" -output "%moviepath%%movie%_ST.ac3" ) -azid( -c normal -g max ) -ac3enc( -b 384 -6ch )

c:\noborrar\win2000\util_vid\besweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input "%moviepath%%movie%_ST.ac3" -output f:\temp\prueba_pr2_st.mp2 ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -mp2enc( -m d -b 224 -e ) -ota( -g max )

Echo "Finaliza prueba2" >> prueba.log
time /t >> prueba.log

The results of the times of process were:

Proceso 1 prueba_pr1_st.mp2 : 102.144 KB : 12 minutes of process.
Proceso 2 prueba_pr2_st.mp2 : 102.137 KB : 39 minutes of process.

According to I see, intelligent Besweet was in the process 1 the since when detecting that the passed MP2 of second was already to
44.1khz, to Dual Chanel and 224 kbs did not make any change, in
the one only transform it of audio from pal (25) to ntscfilm(23.976), thus
time was really very fast.

Time of audio:
prueba_pr1_st.mp2 : 62 minutes 15 seconds
prueba_pr2_st.mp2 : 62 minutes 14 seconds

I have proven the DVD in my reproducer, is perfect.

Could do you tests? Some commentary to the exposed thing? some
complaint?

Thanks...
