Hi,

This is what the authoring tool is. If you own one, just search a guide for it, or use some freeware (based on DVDAuthor), like Gui for DVDAuthor, and in the web page, you'll see a mini manual about how to use it... (it's not the simpliest one).

Salu2

Give a look also to DVDLabPro (free for 30 days) :
www.dvdlabpro.com

(great guide included).

@Phil
DLP 1.0 does come with a great guide, but it ain't definitly what we usually call "for dummies".
Do you know such a guide, Phil?
That is, a guide for 2xmovie, 2xaudio, 2xsubtitle and a basic hand made menu with option to start movie1 or movie2 and some small thumbnails of the chapter scenes for starting movie1 or movie 2?
Currently I can't afford DLP and I've already went over the 30 day trial period.
But since I'm about to reinstall WinXP, due to some crazy DLL stuff that is happening to me, I might give DLP 1.0 a try again.
Maybe I can learn a bit more about it.
Who knows, with your help (and others), we could make a guide for this one, too?
Cheers

I am surely too genious but I don't see what is difficult in this. The only not "natural" things is that you have to import first the streams in the bucket. After this, you just have to drap'n'drop the video + the audio. Chapter ? there is a wizard. For subtitles, it just a matter of clicikng and reading the hints given...

Really...

Anytime I need a guide for a given tool I go to www.dvdrhelp.com
They have a search engine per tool name !

this depend on the tools you're using...
With Gui for DVDAtuhor, you can paste the info Chapterextractor gives you.
with Tmpgenc DVD Author, you have to edit manually the movie (same with Nerovision)...

And with DVDLabPro you just have to put markers in the timeline and use a wizard to do the job !

Can't you just TRY by yourself and THEN ask when there is something you didn't understand
