i mix the old lbr template with the new
and don't know what i got(kiddin)

testing with one chapter with
MaxBitrate=1150, i get more size than MaxBitrate=2300!

yes,with MinBitrate=300 and MaxBitrate=2300 the size is less.

this is the result of the cocktail script:

please Kwag , test or read this and see if i do some errors,

Hi jorel,

No, there are no errors, but the thing you did is increase the distance of MAX bit rate from your current CQ_VBR value. Only if you have a high action scene in your sample you would see an increase of file size. But on regular scenes, the actual file size falls as you increase the MAX bit rate. If you look at the mpeg file with bitrate viewer, you'll see that the Q is higher with your MAX=2300 ( or 4,000, etc ), meaning worse quality.
