Thanks to DarkDudae for this link and information.
www.canalxvid.com

Download the program "AR Calculator" here: http://canalxvid.urbenalia.com/pafil...download&id=28

The instalation will prompt you is spanish, but you can change it to either English or Spanish.
Once the program is installed, the following languages are available on all menus:

Catalan
English
Eusquera
French
Gallego
German
Portuguese
Spanish

Here's a translated comment from DardDudae, from a message he sent me:

"AR Calculator integrates our utility "AVSOptimizer", which is capable of analyzing any video, and assign a complexity to each scene, and this way it can choose the correct filters and resizing for each type of scene.
This features were thought specifically for XviD 1.0 CODEC. However, because it's capable of detecting the complexity of the scenes on any video, maybe you can find it usefull"

And of course we will put it to the test

Thanks DarkDudae

Just to add two advices about this program. It needs Avisynth 2.5.3 or later installed, and XviD 1.0.

If you find some problem... please, open XviD configuration dialog and use Load Defaults buttom before using ARCalculator.

Regards!

I can't wait to get into this one. Right now we're all doing heavy tests on ffvfw codec for MPEG-2 encodes.
It's always the same... Months without much news, and then by a week everyone is using completely different techniques.
