I would to know if dvdhrink v3.2 makes a transcoding or encoding.

Last day I have made a dvd from 5216 Mb to 4464 Mb with dvdshrink and it has employed 52m14sec.

Today I have made a dvd from 5575 Mb to 4464 Mb with ds and if has employed 2h 23m

it is a mystery!

New DVDShrink has a new adaptative engine. Adaptative means that processing time can change according to the source. This new feature is know to last HOURS.

Uncheck the "AEC" feature and you will find again the "fast" speed you used to have.

I found this out to zagor and Phil pointed this out to me I tried to backup a DVD and it said 4 hours plus.

The AEC is a nightmare lol.
