Greetings

I will try to create a KSVCD movie from a MJPEG captured from VCR.
This MJPEG is visibly interlaced.
IŽd like to know if there is a need to deinterlace this movie in the coding process, or it will playback fine in a standalone DVD player without doing that.

Thanx

It's even better to keep it interlaced, and of course to set correctly the encoder to produce an interlaced MPEG2.

Be carreful, if you use a script, this script must be a adapted to handle interlaced material (not all filters can process correctly an interlaced source).

Search a little on the forum, you will have plenty of examples.
