Aaah, rainer, not to be an ******* or anything but as I understand it Phil is not a professional code developer.
For sure he has a hard time looking out for the forum as The Admin and also to experiment with HC-Matic in his leisure time.
So if I were you I wouldn't pressure him at all if I wanted to see his "baby" rockin' HC and my movies.
Besides, Karl's CQMatic is now open-source.
If you're in a hurry you can always take his sources and adapt them to HC .
Cheers

Don't worry, the tool is finished. Just have to replace the usage of "Sampler" by a "SelectRangeEvery" because I forgot that Sampler is an external plugin that not everyone has. I'm on it today.

I don't think Rainer wanted to be rude. And to explain why it is so long : I do not developp the tool using garbage samples, I'm using it to do my real encodes that I actually burn on DVD afterwards. My PC needs 18h to encode a 8 ep disc. In other words I can barely do one test a day.
Edit : and I am a profesionnal code developper. That's my job since 11 years and what I'm doing since 23 years, even if I'm now more perl guru and Unix administration specialist than a Basic expert
Snapshot of the tool now (as you can see I have an encoding running )

Me neither but you know, usually when someone posts something like he did you get 4 or 5 jerks in the same thread asking the same thing in a rude way.
This was not the case but I was just playing it safe .

BTW, Pro is more often on Diko forums, perhaps you can find him there and ask him about where to DL his tools now.

Not really, i do spend similar time in both forums (few time in both ).

I just meant bluehost (the provider that hosts kvcd.net) allows 15 GB of disc space, so I can put your tool here and it will be available at http://www.kvcd.net/downloads/...

Sorry, wasn't very clear. With HC-Matic, I can enter data for compressed audio. When I want to use AC3 (uncompressed to MP2), my computed Audio size is too small and Video size too big. A possible mod would be to allow input of AC3 size and computing a the balance of media size for Video size.
Edited:
Sorry, finally discovered you're one step ahead of me. Custom size!
