CQMatic worked one time and now when I use it all I get is a CQ prediction of 89.73. I looked at all the threads concerning the problem with 89.77 and nothing helped.

Make sure you clear the source range in TMPEG.
That's usually the problem. Also check your file path, and make sure it's short. Like "C:\movies" or something like that.

I have cleared the source range and everything is in h:\movies

I have noticed that when I double click source range and seek through the movie it is not in order and says its only got 1271 frames and is 53 seconds long. Really it is 1 hour 36 min 38 sec with 139026 frames.

Then you have a problem with your source.
How did you rip your DVD (and I hope we're not talking about an AVI!)
What is your source

Sorry its an avi. I was just trying to find out if it could be some other problem but I guess not. Oh well, the prediction script from http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2102 works great thanks!
