hi all

I want a divx version of a dvdrip. I have the vob still on my hard drive, and i have gone into dvd2avi and chosen save avi which it has saved but no sound has been produced?

Anyone help me?

Best way is to use MPEG Mediator

under the audio tab in dvd2avi select track one, then in channel format select auto selectand select demux under dolbvy digital then run the ac3 through headac3he and reencode the ac3 as mp2.

Hi andybno1,

Don't need to do any of that
Just open your VOBs in Mediator, select OpenDML AVI on output tab and select your DivX or XviD CODEC. You can even select MP3 audio right there. Then click and encode. Perfect MPEG-4

I know, I was suggesting what he could do to get avi and audio in dvd2avi. I gave MPEG Mediator a go for the first time tonight and love it.
