KVCD Doesn't Work, VCD can't Read Error?

I am a total newb at this When I check my fts on the movie [tmd]spiderman it gives me 12.5000. I used TMPG for the enode to mpg. I try to play it on my dvd and it doesn't work can't read error. But when my friend brings his copy of spiderman vcd it plays on my dvd. I also tried the nero 5.5 drag and drop and it encodes it auto, it took about an hour for that. Still same problem won't read it. The bottom line is every movie I make it doesn't work. Can you help me out? I would also like to try out the new template but I don't know how to install it? Where it goes either. Like I said Im a newb. So any help I would be very thankful. I would just like to burn a vcd and play it on my dvd player that will be a good start for me thanks again peps.............

Thanks for the help on the templates What do you think Im doing wrong on the encoding part cause it won't play? I tried VCDEasy and Nero and I still can't get to play?
