i just did an encode and multiplexed it with the audio. as i'm watching it, i notice the audio starts to gradually loose sync. yet if i keep watching and then scroll back to the same spot, the audio is synced (sp?) up again. can anyone explain this weirdness?

That means your MPEG is fine . Fire up your burner, and put it on a CD-R

Neither PowerDVD or WinDVD play VBR MPEG-1 correctly
They do play MPEG-1 CBR or MPEG-2 VBR or CBR fine.
