Hi there, I read in a post a while ago that I could encode faster with TMPGenc if you got rid of the black boxes in letter box mode(?).

What I am currently doing is recording from my TVcard in YUY2 format, 384x228 resolution. It's great for what I am doing but could I encode faster?

Does the above mentioned (letterbox option) only apply to DVD's?
