TMPGEnc V 2.58.44.152 Plus
AVISynth 2.0
DVD2AVI V1.76
I am currently trying to encode some anime(Real Bout HighSchool) with the following method.
Rip DVD and create a DVD2AVI Project
Then I am using the optimal script,
Mpeg2Source("D:\Ripped DVD\default\real bout HS\RB_Project.d2v")
# DirectShowSource(" Enter Source Here")
LegalClip()
GripCrop(352, 28
GripSize(resizer="BicubicResize")
STMedianFilter(10, 50, 0, 0, 10, 50)
# SpaceDust() # Optional - for some "not so clean" DVDs.
unfilter(50,50)
temporalsmoother(1,2)
mergechroma(blur(1.5
)
mergeluma(blur(0.3))
# Convolution3d or DCTFilter for extreme worse cases.
GripBorders()
LegalClip()
to create an AVS then importing it into TMPGEnc and loading the, KVCD-CQ-352x576-_PAL_-PLUS 120 mins template. And changing the Max GOP to 12 as recommended on the optimal scripts page for PAL anime.
I have a couple questions if someone could please help ^_^
1) What Video Arrange Method should I use ? (I found that playback was squashed and wide)
2) I didnt De-Interlace when I used DVD2SVCD however im finding that im getting linear lines (usually when theres motion scenes) in playback now using this method that i didnt get before, how do i deinterlace properly with this script?
3)How do i find out which field should go first in Settings of TMPGEnc ie Field A/B
4) I am resizing in the script to VCD standard for PAL is that right or would another size be better? when i set it to the template size it takes much longer to encode, i thought it would be quicker any idea why this is?
Thank you for your time and any help will be appreciated ^_^
