My movies normally take 2 hours for a 90 minute movie.

Well I had one today that was 90 minutes, but it has some credits at the beginning because I didn't cut it right in DVD2AVI, so the first 3 minutes were black with scrollling white text. I figured I'd just encode it and chop off those 3 minutes of video later.

Well when I loaded up in ToK with the latest MA script TMPGEnc said it was going to take 7 hours!! And I have a 3ghz machine. Wierd thing is once it got past the credits and into the main movie the time remaining dropped rapidly back down to normal which is @ 2 hours.

What's up with that?
