Hi all!

I know this has been discussed earlier somewhere, but has anyone tried Overscan set to 3 with the KDVD resolution? it's the highest possible right? so IF at this resolution with TV-Overscan 3 there are still black borders, why is there the option to use 3 anyway? well I'll try it out myself in a second!

I get black borders on the sides at 704x480 with 3 overscan blocks. So I assume at 720x480 with KDVD I will too. But I haven't tried it at that resolution.

Si I get Black borders at 704xxxx too...

with 720 I can't see any black borders... I tried on 2 TV sets already. It is the first value the width? I mean the 720 ? Or could it be because I burned a PAL sample which is 720x576 ?

Have you tried it yet? i tested on my girlfriends TV, and there are no black borders visible either...
It still saves some discspace, when less is encoded right?

hy rs008f,
welcome in forum!

you're right,
in the pc monitor show black borders...
i can call it big with overscan 3 but
in the tv you don't loose anything in the sizes(720x480).
of course,if the tv have perfect adjusts(within) and
with overscan 2 is perfect or the tv have problems.
