Is there a command I can put in my scripts in Moviestacker to make the borders on the top and bottom thinner?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can manually change the size of the borders by changing the corresponding numbers in the AddBorders(x,X,x,X) and the numbers in the resize command-- but then the aspect ratio won't be correct

Yes you can by doing a "PAN SCAN" .. that means the size of the real movie-picture will be proportionally enlarget as a whole! So use the "Resize" Ffield in moviestacker to rise the movies hight. Also you have to set "Crop" to accurate!! If not the picture will not be cropped at the sides which will give you an incorrect aspect ratio.

But by doing this you have to watch out! Cause if you PAN SCAN a Movie which is not anamorphic its quality will suffer!
And also pan scanning gives you more real movie pixels (not Frame pixels) to encode, which means less CQ!
