This is driving me to the brink. Downloaded the new DVD2AVI.. TMPGEnc now just closes down when I get to 100% encoding. It doesn't finalize the file. Well, I thought that the new DVD2AVI was the culprit. So I switched back to 1.76.. It's weird... TMPGEnc gets to 100% and the window just blinks off.. Last night went perfect no troubles.

I then encoded video only. HAZAAH!! Finally, finishes file. But it does the weird close down thang when I encode the audio. I am on WinXP Pro, 512MB Ram, 1 GHz. Athlon T-Bird. Anybody else have this happen??

I am gonna delete EVERYTHING pertainging to my video conversions and then re-install it all to see if that will fix this....

That has happened to me too! But not anymore, because I only encode the video with TMPEG. Use headac3he to encode your audio.
